Wahlstrom
Mark
Wahlstrom is the Chief Executive Officer of
Successline and President of our Data Analysis
Solutions Division. He has worked with numerous school improvement teams
across America and
specializes in strategic planning. He is leading our
development and deployment of Tracker software
for Michigan (MI Tracker),
Pennsylvania (PA Tracker) and retrofit of
Virginia's SOL Tracker to a
web-based application.
He brings a
wealth of knowledge, experience, and leadership to Successline after
completing 30 years of distinguished service in
the U.S. Navy. He has conducted extensive fleet operations around the world. Mark served in seven ships in
both the Pacific and Atlantic Fleets participating in major
operations in the Med, Middle East, Adriatic, Baltic Sea and
numerous locations in the western Pacific. His significant sea
tours include serving as the Commanding Officer of the destroyer USS SPRUANCE (DD 963), most recently the AEGIS cruiser USS CAPE ST
GEORGE (CG 71), and as the senior trainer on the Commander, Second
Fleet Staff for deploying Carrier Battle Groups and Amphibious
Groups. During his career Mark earned sub-specialties in financial
management, training, and naval mechanical engineering. He also
earned his designation as a Navy Master Training Specialist while
serving on the staff of Surface Warfare Officer's School and faculty
of the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. Mark has earned
four Presidential Citations and four Secretary of the Navy Citations
for superior performance of duty while in the fleet.
Mark earned a
B.S. in Business Administration from The Citadel and is a member of
the class of 1977. He earned a M.S. in Financial Management from the
Naval Postgraduate School graduating in 1987. Mark earned a M.A. in
International Affairs and National Security with the highest
distinction from the Naval War College in 1995. While attending the
Naval War College he was selected for the President's Award for
academic achievement and community service. He lives with his wife
Deborah and their dog Keesa in the peanut capital of
the world, Suffolk, VA. Mark has two great children Brian and Andrea
who attend college in San Diego.
